AK | THIS LITTLE LIFE | OFFICIAL SONG

Melodic Pop / Acoustic Pop

Written by Ashok Kunreddy

Intro

This…
is my life…
no rush… just breathe…

Verse 1

I wake up slow,
hope in my chest,
fire within,
I don’t need rest.

No fear loud enough
to break my tone,
every step I take
feels like home.

Doubt came knocking,
I shut it out,
walked through the storm,
no fear, no doubt.

Rain tried breaking
what I became,
but pain just sharpened
my name.

Pre-Chorus

I’ve been low,
I’ve been high,
I’ve been lost in between,
still I rise,
still I try,
still I chase what I’ve seen.

Every scar,
every fall,
every night I survived,
turned the pressure into power,
now I feel alive.

Chorus

I slow it down,
I breathe, I see,
this little life belongs to me.

No chains define
what I lack,
I move in love,
I don’t look back.

I feel the light
inside my skin,
no more running
from within.

This little heart
beats steady and free,
this little life belongs to me.

Verse 2

I don’t live
just to barely survive,
I want the feeling
of being alive.

I fall, I break,
I build again,
turn every wound
into strength within.

Love in my chest,
not just romance,
it’s self-respect
in every chance.

Even in silence,
even in pain,
I find my rhythm
inside the rain.

Bridge

Let the world
spin fast and wild,
I found my peace,
I’m reconciled.

Don’t need more,
I’m already whole,
my heart, my beat,
my only goal.

Final Chorus

I slow it down,
I breathe, I see,
this little life belongs to me.

No fear can pull
me off my track,
I move in love,
I don’t look back.

I rise again,
I feel the light,
turn my darkness
into sight.

This little life,
I hold it tight,
I own my path,
I own my life.

Outro

No race…
No chase…

Just breath…
Just peace…
Just me…

This little life…
belongs to me.

AK | THIS LITTLE LIFE | OFFICIAL SONG | BEHIND STORY

Written By Ashok Kunreddy

Hello and welcome.

This is AK.

Thank you for being here,
and for taking a moment to listen.

Today I want to share something very personal, the story and thoughts behind my track “This Little Life.”

This isn’t just a song.
It’s a pause.
A question.
And a quiet realization that came to me somewhere in the middle of chasing dreams.

Sometimes, in the middle of chasing dreams, I stop and ask myself: What is it all really for?

We spend so much time running, competing, comparing, but then there are quiet moments where I feel both the weight and the beauty of simply being alive. That’s where this song was born.

This Little Life came to me during one of those pauses, when I realized that I don’t need to measure my worth by what I have or what I don’t. My life, with all its scars, struggles, and unfinished chapters, is still mine. And that alone makes it powerful.

The opening lines are about waking up with hope and carrying a fire inside, even when fear and doubt are there.

The chorus says everything I was trying to understand at that moment:

“I slow it down, I breathe, I see,
this little life belongs to me.”

It’s about slowing down, breathing, and recognizing what we already carry within us.

I’ve been through times where I felt like I wasn’t enough, where the world moved too fast and I couldn’t keep up. Writing this song reminded me that I don’t have to.

Life isn’t a race. It’s a journey of growing at my own pace, falling, healing, learning, and trying again.

In the second verse, I wanted to capture the idea of falling, breaking, and finding the strength to build again.

And when I talk about love in the song, I’m not talking only about romance. I’m talking about self respect, learning to value yourself and the life you’re living.

Even in silence, even in pain, there can still be a rhythm waiting to be found.

In the bridge, I wanted to capture the peace I’ve been searching for.

“Don’t need more,
I’m already whole.”

That’s the heart of the song.

Even when everything around me feels loud and chaotic, there is a place inside me that can remain whole and steady.

This Little Life is a reminder to myself, and maybe to you, that we don’t need more to feel complete. Sometimes, what we already have, our breath, our heart, our spirit, is enough.

So as you listen to this song,

I invite you to slow down for a moment.

Breathe.

Feel where you are.

And remember that your life, exactly as it is right now, has meaning.

You don’t have to prove it.

You don’t have to race for it.

You already own it.

This is This Little Life.

I hope it reminds you to be gentle with yourself,
to move with courage,
and to honor your own pace.

After writing This Little Life,

“I realized that, this little life isn’t something to prove. It’s something to live, gently and fully.”
