AK | SHIVA | OFFICIAL SONG | BEHIND STORY
Written by Ashok Kunreddy
Hello and welcome…This is AK.
Thank you for being here and for taking a moment to listen.
This story is about the song “Shiva.”
The song is inspired by the sacred energy and meaning behind the chants “Shiva” and “Har Har Mahadev.”
Shiva is not just a name.
For me, Shiva represents pure consciousness, stillness, inner strength, and the infinite balance between creation and transformation.
The repetition of the name Shiva creates a feeling of stillness and focus, while Har Har Mahadev carries a powerful sense of energy, devotion, and transformation.
When I created this track, I wanted to bring these two feelings together through psytrance.
The idea came from the contrast between stillness and movement.
Shiva represents the silence within.
The psytrance rhythm represents the energy that moves around it.
As the beat builds, the chants become more than words. They become a rhythmic vibration that connects the listener with the energy of Shiva and Mahadev.
The repeated chants are intentional.
In meditation and spiritual practice, repetition can help bring the mind into focus. I wanted the electronic rhythm to create a similar experience, but through a powerful psytrance sound.
The heavy bass, hypnotic beats, psychedelic sounds, and chanting are designed to create a journey.
A journey from silence…
Into energy…
From energy…
Back into stillness.
I created “Shiva – Psytrance” as my personal expression of that experience.
It is not meant to be a lesson.
It is an invitation.
An invitation to pause.
To listen.
To feel the rhythm.
To connect with the vibration.
And to experience the energy of Shiva in your own way.
After writing “Shiva,” I realized that:
“Shiva is not something we search for outside – it is the stillness and power we awaken within ourselves.”
– Ashok Kunreddy
Thank you for listening to “Shiva”
Stay tuned. Signing off…AK
