Today I want to share something very personal — the story and thoughts behind my track “Forgive, Never Forget” truly comes from.

Because this song wasn’t born from anger.

It wasn’t written in revenge.

It was born from reflection.

From a moment of realizing that forgiveness is not weakness…
and memory is not bitterness.

For a long time, I believed that if something didn’t work out,
I had to erase it to move forward.

That if I truly healed,
I shouldn’t think about it anymore.

But life doesn’t work that way.

Some experiences stay.

Not to hurt you.
But to remind you who you were
when you gave your whole heart to something.

This song is not about a single person.

It’s about a situation.

It’s about the feeling of investing yourself completely
in a relationship,
in a career,
in a dream,
in a version of your future.

And then watching it not unfold the way you imagined.

I’ll share something personal.

There was a time when I worked extremely hard during my MBA.
Four semesters.
Late nights.
Sacrifices.
Belief.

I had a vision
a corporate job,
a structured path,
a dream I built in my early twenties.

But life had other plans.

Despite the effort, despite the dedication,
that door didn’t open.

And for a while, it felt meaningless.

Like all that work had no result.

That’s where the emotional conflict began.

I chose to forgive.

I forgave the expectation I once held.

I began building my own startup.

I never forgot the dream I once had.

I never forgot the young version of me
who believed in that corporate future.

And I shouldn’t forget him.

Because that version of me
worked hard.

Tried sincerely.
