AK | Closer to Care | Official Song

Written by Ashok Kunreddy

[Verse 1]
I was just a child, running wild in the fields,
The sun was warm, the sky so wide.
Then a moment changed my world that day,
Pain and fear took my breath away.

No clinic near, no light to see,
Just hope and hands guiding me.
Miles to go, my heart clenched tight,
Through the dark, we searched for light.

[Chorus]
We all need care a little closer,
A hand that’s near when life turns over.
Not miles away, but by our side,
Where love and healing both reside.
We all need care a little closer,
To keep our hearts and hope alive.

[Verse 2]
There was someone who always knew,
How to heal with words so true.
Didn’t wear a white coat or name,
But carried love that felt the same.

Through every storm, through every change,
His voice was never out of range.
Now I see what he tried to share —
Health begins when someone cares.

[Chorus]
We all need care a little closer,
A hand that’s near when life turns over.
Not miles away, but by our side,
Where love and healing both reside.
We all need care a little closer,
To keep our hearts and hope alive.

[Bridge]
From village roads to city lights,
Let compassion cross the heights.
One dream, one world, one call to share,
One simple truth — we all need care.

[Final Chorus]
We all need care a little closer,
A hand that’s near when pain grows colder.
Not miles away, but right in view,
A world that heals — for me and you.

[Outro]
Every dream begins somewhere,
And mine began… with someone who cared.

Behind the Story of ā€œCloser to Careā€

Hello everyone…
This is A K.

Thank you for being here,
and thank you for taking a moment to listen.

Today, I want to share something deeply personal — the story behind my track ā€œCloser To Care.ā€
This isn’t just a song.
It’s a memory, a lesson, and a belief that has stayed with me since childhood.

I was born and grew up in a small village called Pedda Gudem, in the Nalgonda district of Telangana, India. About 15 to 20 years ago, life in my village was very different. The roads were rough, transport was limited, and getting medical help was difficult.

One of the biggest memories from my childhood is something that changed how I look at health forever.

I was around seven or eight years old, playing in the farming fields while my parents were working nearby. All of a sudden, a dog bit me.

I still remember the pain, the fear, and the confusion. Back then, our village had no local clinic or first-aid center. My parents, with the help of neighbors and friends, had to find a way to take me to the nearest hospital in Haliya.

It took more than two to three hours to reach there because of the rough roads and limited transport. I had to hold on the whole time until we reached the hospital. That journey felt endless.

Now, when I look back, I realize how serious that moment was — and how lucky I was to get help in time. Today, things are changing. There are better roads, faster communication, and more structured systems to provide care. But even now, I feel that something is still missing.

That missing piece is a local village-level clinic — a place where even basic first aid can be given immediately. Because when you live close to nature — in farming fields or rural areas — you never know what can happen.

In my case, it was a dog bite.
For others, it could be a snake bite, a farm injury, or any sudden emergency.
In those moments, traveling ten miles to the nearest town doesn’t make sense — it’s not realistic.

This experience made me understand how important it is to bring healthcare closer to where people live.

And when I think about healthcare, I always think about one person — my uncle, Dr. Krishna Reddy.

He hasn’t studied MBBS, but he runs a medical shop and is known by everyone in the village for his kindness and knowledge. For me, he is more than a doctor. He always listens patiently, guides me with care, and gives me confidence whenever I feel sick.

When I was in my village, he was there.
When I moved to different cities in India, he was there.
And even now, as I live abroad, he is still there — just a phone call away.

Whenever I call him, he knows exactly what to say. He listens, understands my nature, and gives me clear advice. Today, people call this teleconsultation, but for me, it’s simply him — the same person who has always cared for me, no matter the distance.

Watching him over the years has taught me what true care means. His calm voice, thoughtful suggestions, and constant presence inspire me to think deeply about health and healing.

Every idea I have about better healthcare, every dream I carry about a healthier world, comes from his influence. When I imagine how we can make healthcare easier for people in villages, I think about both — my childhood experience and his gentle, consistent care.

He is not just my uncle.
He is my first doctor.
And the person who showed me what good health truly means.

Without him, I might not have known how deeply one person’s guidance can shape another person’s life.

He is the reason I believe that every village should have access to basic healthcare — because quick care can save lives.

In my case, I was fortunate.
But I always think — what about others?

Not everyone has someone like him to guide them or help them in time.

That thought — the dream to bring healthcare closer to people’s homes — has stayed with me.

It is a dream born from my childhood experience, strengthened by his influence, and guided by hope.

A hope to see village clinics across Bharat.
A hope to make healthcare local, quick, and reliable.
A hope inspired by him — Dr. Krishna Reddy.

And that is the story behind ā€œCloser To Care.ā€

So listen now, and swing along.
